Mayfest will be on May 4, 2014.  There will be a Potluck Dinner at 5:30 PM and the program will begin at 6:30 PM.  Our guest speaker will be Kenny Noe.   Please remember to bring items for the annual paper & canteen drive.

Approximately 100 gathered for the annual fall picnic at KCA on August 25th.  After a wonderful pitch-in meal a concert by 29 Strings was enjoyed and Gary Pettyjohn, minister at Wildie Christian Church, led us in a devotion.

The next Director’s meeting is September 9th at the camp. It will start at 7 pm.

Round-Up picnic will be on Sunday, August 25th.  The Pot-Luck meal starts at 5:30 with a program of special music starting at 6:30.  This is the last picnic and gathering at the camp for the summer. And a great summer it has been!

 

The 2013 camp season kicked off on Sunday, May 5th, with the annual Mayfest.  In spite of cool and rainy weather, many came to an evening of food, fellowship and music.  After sharing a potluck meal, all were entertained with a concert by Rachel Johnson & Jay Lawson.  They were followed by a local favorite, 29 Strings.

 

Junior counselor training was held Sunday, May 5th, at the camp. Over 20 prospective counselors came and began preparing for a summer of fun and service.  The training was led my Mr. Wade Johnson, minister at Climax Christian Church, Mrs. Theresa Davis and Mrs. Cynthia Rogers from Wildie Christian Church.

The annual paper products drive for KCA has successfully helped each year in providing many of the consumable products needed for the camp season.  Bring these to MayFest on May 5th   to help us get the camp season off to a fantastic start!
